Profile

Biography

I hold a PhD. in Medical Biochemistry from DMIHER, Wardha and M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University. Additionally, I completed a BMLT from Rajeev Gandhi College under Barkatullah University, Bhopal. My professional journey includes teaching roles at prestigious institutions such as JNMC (DMIHER) and MMCMSR (MMDU) and hands-on experience in various medical and biochemistry labs. I am dedicated to combining my expertise in research with my passion for teaching.

Academic Background

  • PhD. in Medical Biochemistry from JNMC, DMIHER, Wardha, Maharashtra (2022 – 2025)
  • M.Sc. in Medical Biochemistry from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Ambala (2017-2020).

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism, Bhopal (2016).

  • BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) from Rajeev Gandhi College, Barkatullah University, Bhopal (2011-2015).

Professional Philosophy

My approach to teaching and research is rooted in the belief that understanding and applying biochemistry are key to advancing medical science and improving patient care. I emphasise interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage students to think critically and creatively. A blend of practical lab experience and theoretical knowledge can equip future healthcare professionals to make meaningful contributions to clinical settings.

Teaching

Courses Taught

  • Medical Biochemistry
An introduction to the principles of biochemistry with an emphasis on medical applications. The course covers the biochemical basis of disease, laboratory techniques, and diagnostic tools used in clinical biochemistry.

  • Clinical Biochemistry
Focuses on biochemical tests used in clinical practice to diagnose and monitor diseases. Students learn the biochemical mechanisms of various diseases, and the role of biomarkers and laboratory tests in patient care.

  • Metabolic Disorders and Diagnostics
This course explores the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and biochemical management of metabolic disorders like diabetes, obesity, and metabolic syndrome. It includes hands-on learning of laboratory techniques for diagnosing these conditions.

Curriculum Development

  • Developed a Comprehensive Biochemistry Syllabus incorporating the latest research findings and clinical practices in biochemistry.

  • Integrated Problem-Based Learning (PBL) modules into the curriculum to encourage critical thinking and application of theoretical knowledge in clinical scenarios.

  • Introduced Interactive Lab Sessions to bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to gain hands-on experience with biochemical diagnostic techniques.

Teaching Resources

  • Study Guides & Notes: Detailed, easy-to-understand study guides and lecture notes on medical and clinical biochemistry topics.

  • Interactive Learning Materials: Online resources, quizzes, and interactive lab exercises designed to enhance students’ understanding of complex biochemical processes.

  • Reference Materials: Curated lists of research articles, textbooks, and journal papers to deepen students’ knowledge on various topics.
